Well the Dr's did rounds a little bit ago, and the news is good. There is very small hole in place of the large one which was present 3 days ago. The surgeon, the cardiac ICU fellow and the attending all indicated this was normal and acceptable. Our surgeon also commented he would not be suprised if the hospital released Corinne sometime tomorrow, but definately this weekend.
Also, she is feeding much better today. She drank about 2.5 oz tonight on her own. The final 1/2 oz was given through the feeding tube.
Again thank you for your prayers, support and assitance with Corrine.

So glad to hear that Corinne is recovering so well. Hope you both are holding up fine. I bet Meredith and Jamel are anxious to see her back home. We will keep you all in our prayers. Love Kristine and kids

What great news!! We are still praying for you guys! I know that J and Mer will be pumped to have you guys all back home! As a side note, I just got my Parents magazine today and it had an article with the Top 10 best Children's Hospital and the one you are at was ranked number four. They focused on how great they are with families in the article. How blessed you are to be somewhere she could get such great care! God is good! Love, Karen
